I remember when me x Kent was in Chicago earlier this year and we had a conversation about how much we loved N.E.R.D.S and how they did shows with a live band and two of everything (two drummers, guitarist, pianist, etc, etc) so getting the phone call that they did a show and did it with a live band made my day…. they performed all new songs from the upcoming mixtape called “Live for, Die for” he is some of the footage….bear with me as i get better quality but just enjoy the moment….

Alot of you’ll may know i lived in california for about 1year and 1/2 (back and forth from the bay area to LA) so i have alot of love for “dr dre x snoop dogg” lol some of you may know im the “go to guy” for all good coming from the left coast… so when yall heard me singing “We ridin’ down the shaw” and told you that a lil group by the name of “OVERDOZ.” aka The Blunnits was the next ones up….best to hit the bank and cash out!!!
There style to what most compare to a modern day “OutKast” is very funky and new skool, with the funny story lines, high levels of kush indigestion and dope word play this group of characters which include Kent Jamz, Sleezy*, Tubey, and Creme who are all from Inglewood have a sound and image that most can relate with… hipsters, production heads, lovers, r&b dudes and yes even all you weed smokers (Roll em up after this one)…..
There 2nd mixtape Nova that came out as a new years present to the world and there first tape “bowties x rosaries, which i feel is straight classic, dropped ’08. but as Kent told me “Live For, Die for” which drops September is going to be one everyone will live for and die for…. they also are artist on the JBC music group, which includes talents and labelmate Dom Kennedy, Mr. “1997” himself.
